Healthy Chocolate Donuts
Baked chocolate donuts made with flax eggs, almond meal and whole wheat pastry flour.

01Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. In a small bowl, mix flax seed meal and water to make flax eggs; allow to sit for 10 minutes to thicken. 3. Stir together almond meal, whole wheat pastry flour, baking soda, baking powder, maple syrup, cocoa powder and almond milk in a bowl until combined, then add in the thickened flax egg. 4. The mix should be somewhat thick; if it is clumpy or very difficult to stir, add a little more milk or water, then stir in chocolate chips. 5. Spray your donut pan liberally with cooking oil to prevent sticking. 6. Spoon batter into a ziploc bag, cut the corner, and pipe donuts into your pan. 7. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
