Nacho Fries Recipe

    Cut the potatoes into sticks, soak in cold water 15 minutes, then drain and pat dry. 2. Toss the potato sticks with 1 tablespoon of oil and cook in an air fryer at 390 F for 20-25 minutes or in the oven at 390 F for about 35 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy. 3. Toss the fries with the taco seasoning. 4. Meanwhile, soak the TVP in 2 cups warm water for 5-10 minutes, then drain. 5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, saute the onion a few minutes, then add the garlic and drained TVP. 6. Stir in all spices, soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar and fry 4-5 minutes; adjust seasonings. 7. Thin the vegan cheese sauce with a little water to a nacho-cheese consistency. 8. Arrange the fries on a platter and top with the vegan meat, cheese sauce, tomatoes, peppers, salsa, and optional avocado and jalapenos; garnish with scallions and serve immediately.
