Vegan Waffles (Breakfast)

Crisp vegan waffles made with rice and oat flours, with an optional chocolate swirl.

    Combine the wet ingredients in a mug and set aside. 2. Add all dry ingredients to a bowl, grinding oats into flour if needed. 3. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry until just combined; the batter should bubble slightly. 4. Heat and lightly oil the waffle machine, spoon in 2-3 tablespoons of batter per waffle, and cook about 5 minutes. 5. For two-colored waffles, mix cocoa powder, maple syrup, and plant milk into half the batter and layer the two batters in the machine. 6. Serve with maple syrup, chocolate sauce, or fruit.
