Homemade Bubble Tea (Boba Milk Tea) Drink
Black milk tea with homemade brown sugar syrup and chewy tapioca pearls.

01Steep the tea bags in freshly boiled water for 5-10 minutes, then cool to room temperature. 2. Simmer the sugar and water in a small saucepan until dissolved, then cool completely. 3. Boil the tapioca pearls about 6 minutes until tender and floating, rinse under cold water, and toss with a little syrup. 4. Divide the pearls among 3 large glasses with ice, pour 1.25 cups tea into each, and top with 0.5 cup milk. 5. Stir in a tablespoon of syrup per glass, adjust sweetness to taste, and serve with boba straws.
