  • 2 whole โ€” large yellow onions, thinly sliced • 2 tbsp olive oil • 1/2 tsp salt • 1 tsp maple syrup • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar • 1/2 cup unsweetened plant-based yogurt (or cashew cream) • 1 garlic clove, minced • 1/4 tsp black pepper
